Birth map poster

Put the place where a child was born on the nursery wall — with the name, the date, and the weight and length if you like. A gentle, personal birth announcement and a keepsake that grows up with them.

How to make a birth map poster

  1. Search the city — or the hospital or home address — and zoom to the part of the city you want to show.
  2. Add a star or a heart with the centre pin. The heart can carry the baby’s name or initials inside it.
  3. Write the details. The name as the title; date, time, weight and length as the subtitle.
  4. Pick soft colours. Candy, Arctic and Duotone suit a nursery; every colour can be adjusted.

What to write

💡 Making it as a gift? Ask the parents for the city and the date, design it in their favourite colours and have the print shipped to them.

Print and frame

Download free as PNG or vector PDF from A4 to A1, or order a print on art paper, framed or on canvas, from the editor. A4 or A3 fits most nursery frames.

Frequently asked questions

Can I add weight, length and time of birth?

Yes — put them in the subtitle line of the map label, in any of the available fonts and colours.

Can I put the baby’s name inside a heart?

Yes. The heart pin takes one or two lines of text, and it can also be filled with a photo.

Do I have to show the hospital?

No. You can centre the map on the city, a neighbourhood or the family home instead.

Is it free?

Designing and downloading are free with no account and no watermark; a printed copy is optional.
